Jordan, Ireland discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh and Irish Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform Brendan Howlin on Sunday examined means to boost bilateral relations and reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East.
Stressing the importance of maintaining joint coordination, Judeh outlined the Kingdom’s reform achievements and highlighted the repercussions of hosting large numbers of Syrian refugees, noting that the international community should help Jordan pursue its humanitarian mission.
The Irish official highlighted his country’s experience in the areas of public sector development, political reform and the control of public expenditures, expressing his country’s desire to boost its cooperation with Jordan.
