Jordan, Kuwait discuss strengthening investment cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Investment Kholoud Saqqaf on Monday emphasised the importance of Kuwaiti investments in Jordan, which span through multiple sectors, including finance, tourism, communications, energy, real estate and infrastructure. During a meeting with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Al Marri, the discussions focused on means to strengthen bilateral relations, particularly in the field of investment. Saqqaf highlighted the ministry's roles in attracting Arab and foreign investments to Jordan, bolstering the business environment in collaboration with governmental institutions and empowering the private sector. She noted that the investment promotion strategy for 2023-2026 prioritises various target markets, including Kuwait. Drawing attention to the Kingdom's most promising investment opportunities, Saqqaf said that investors can access information through the "Invest.jo" platform, which was launched to facilitate communication with investors. The Kuawiti envoy expressed his county's commitment to enhance bilateral relations, especially in the investment field with the aim of meeting common goals.
