Jordan named president of regional congress of military medicine

DEAD SEA — Jordan on Thursday officially assumed the presidency of the Pan-Arab Regional Working Group Congress of Military Medicine during the seventh international conference of the Royal Medical Services and the fourth meeting of the group.
Col. Asem Hiari, who was named as new secretary general of the group, referred to the responsibilities Jordan will shoulder in holding scientific activities in military medicine and activating expertise exchange among member states.

Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, HRH Prince Feisal on Tuesday attended the inauguration ceremony of the seventh international conference of the Royal Medical Services (RMS) and the fourth Pan-Arab Regional Working Group Congress of Military Medicine for the International Committee of Military Medicine.
The Royal Medical Services organised a science day for nursing on Wednesday, attended by HRH Princess Muna.
The seventh International Conference of the Royal Medical Services (RMS) is scheduled to open next week at the Dead Sea, featuring 300 local and international panellists and speakers, in addition to 4,000 participants from 47 countries, organisers said.
