Jordan, The Netherlands discuss healthcare cooperation

AMMAN — Health Minister Ghazi Zaben on Thursday met with Dutch Ambassador to Jordan Barbara Joziasse to discuss ways of developing Dutch-Jordanian cooperation in the field of health.
In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the two officials affirmed their keenness to develop cooperation, especially in area of food control and security, through the exchange of expertise and participation in training programmes organised by The Netherlands’ Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority.
The Dutch ambassador was also informed of the food safety conference that will be held in the Kingdom in May. Zaben stressed that the conference will seek to find a comprehensive and practical vision with regards to food safety.
