Jordan urges Arab collaboration on climate change

AMMAN — A Jordanian delegation participated in the Climate Summit held in New York late last week.
Environment Minister Taher Shakhshir, head of the delegation, stressed the importance of cooperation among Arab countries to counter climate change.
Shakhshir on Sunday said developed countries have to reduce their carbon emissions, urging them to commit to their obligations by providing $100 billion annually to the climate fund by 2020.
