AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces/Royal Air Force, on Wednesday dispatched a plane laden with humanitarian aid to Indonesia.

The aid is in response to the recent earthquakes and hurricane. Rajab Zubeidah, JHCO’s acting secretary general, said in a press release, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that in accordance with Royal Directives, the JHCO dispatched an aircraft loaded with aid including tents, generators, hygiene kits and medical supplies to support the Indonesians.

Zubeidah added that the aircraft, accompanied by an official delegation from JHCO, will be handed over to the relevant authorities in the "Indonesian government", noting that JHCO has dispatched three aircraft over the years to Indonesia when it has suffered a natural disaster.
