Jordanian delegation to check on Qatar World Cup preparations

AMMAN — A Jordanian delegation will travel to Qatar soon to explore ways for the Gulf country to benefit from Jordanian expertise and manpower during its preparations for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
At a meeting with Qatari Ambassador to Jordan Zayed Bin Saed Rashid Al Khayarin on Wednesday, Tourism Minister Nidal Katamine highlighted Jordan’s support for the Gulf state as the first Arab country to host the World Cup, noting that there will be strategic planning between the two countries to enable the those who attend the football event to visit Jordan and enjoy its tourist attractions.
The two sides also discussed ways to boost cooperation in employment, training, tourism and resolving labour disputes, in addition to increasing work opportunities for Jordanians in Qatar.
