Jordanians rally in governorates in solidarity with Palestinians

AMMAN — Jordanians rallied in Amman and other governorates after Friday prayer in solidarity with Palestinians and in protest of the Israeli war against the Gaza Strip. Participants in Amman called on the international community to shoulder its responsibility by halting Israel from perpetrating more crimes against civilians in Gaza and respecting international laws, denouncing the double standards towards the Palestinian issue, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Other protests were held in Tafileh, Aqaba and Irbid, where participants chanted slogans in solidarity with Palestinians, calling for their protection and denouncing the aggression on the besieged strip.
