Jordan’s ambassador to Panama presents credentials

AMMAN — Jordan’s Ambassador to Mexico Adely Qasim Al Khalidi on Wednesday presented his credentials to President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen of Panama, becoming the non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Jordan to Panama.

In an official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Panama City, Ambassador Khalidi conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah to President Cortizo and extended best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Panama.

In response, President Cortizo expressed his appreciation for the wise policies of King Abdullah and commended the exceptional relations that bind the two nations, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
