Jordan’s Expo 2023 Doha pavilion showcases heritage, innovation, investment prospects

AMMAN — Jordan is approaching a new era of progress and development, which requires intensified efforts towards self-reliance, minister of industry, trade and supply, Yusuf Shamali said on Tuesday.

During the Expo 2023 Doha, Shamali highlighted that the Jordanian Pavilion, under the theme "Deep Roots for a Better Tomorrow", showcased the Kingdom's rich heritage in agriculture, environment and technological advancement, blending modernity with deep-rooted traditions and culture.

He also expressed his gratitude to Qatar for inviting Jordan to "Expo 2023 Doha", highlighting the enduring ties between the two nations. 

Expo 2023 Doha Commissioner General Bader Al Dafa hailed the central location of the Jordanian Pavilion, praising its design, diverse exhibits and high visitor turnout.

He also underscored the alignment of the Expo's themes with Jordan's vision, identifying it as a strategic platform for showcasing the 2023-2026 investment promotion strategy.

Al Dafa also said that Expo 2023 Doha offers an opportunity for Jordan to spotlight its investment environment, development zones, and archaeological and touristic sites.
