AMMAN — The Jordanian pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020 kicked off on Friday with the participation of Jordanian, Arab and foreign officials, in addition to Jordanian and Arab community members.
“The great momentum witnessed on the first day of the opening of the Jordanian pavilion reflects the Kingdom's emergence in technical, economic and tourism aspects,” Commissioner General of the Jordanian Pavilion Abdul Fattah Al Kayed told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on the sidelines of the global gathering in Dubai on Friday.
Kayed stressed that the focus of the pavilion is to display the creativity of Jordanian youth and their technical expertise.
The six-month, multibillion-dollar global innovation fair, set to be the largest event ever staged in the Arab world, is expected to attract some 24 million visitors starting October 20 this year.
Dubai Expo 2020 will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 and 195 countries are expected to participate.
