AMMAN — The Jordan Press Association (JPA) is “serious” about addressing complaints against journalists over the profession’s ethics and respecting their colleagues, JPA President TareqMomani said Wednesday.

He said that if the JPA receives a complaint, it will ask the journalist in question to respond to it within 15 days, after which the complaint and the response will be reviewed by the JPA council, which will refer the journalist to the disciplinary committee if any violation is proven.
