King, Crown Prince receive cables on 77th Independence Day

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday  received cables from leaders of Arab, Muslim and friendly countries on Jordan’s 77th Independence Day, which falls on May 25.

King Abdullah also received cables from senior officials and officers, as well as representatives of civil society organisations, according to the Jordan New Agency, Petra.

They commended His Majesty’s efforts in instilling the concept of independence as a tangible and ongoing endeavour dedicated to the prosperity of the nation, and the fulfillment of the aspirations of the Jordanian people and the interests of the country. Furthermore, they lauded the continuation of the modernisation pathway.

HRH Crown Prince Hussein received similar cables, Petra added.
