King, Crown Prince receive congratulations ahead of Prophet’s birthday

AMMAN — On the occasion of the Prophet Mohammad’s birthday, His Majesty King Abdullah and HRH Crown Prince Husssein on Monday received cables of congratulations from leaders of Arab and Muslim countries, as well as senior Jordanian officials.

The leaders expressed their best wishes to His Majesty, Jordanians, Arab and Islamic nations.

His Majesty received cables from Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, the Speaker of the Lower House Atef Tarawneh, the president of the Jordan Judicial Council, the president of the Constitutional Court, the Royal Court chief, the Independent Election Commission’s president, president of the Judicial Council and other high ranking officials.

HRH Crown Prince Hussein also received similar cables from senior officials and officers. Well wishers stressed that Prophet Mohammad embodies peace, rights, justice, equality and tolerance. They also voiced their appreciation the King’s stance in defending Islam and the holy sites.
