King departs for United States

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday departed on a working visit to the United States.
King Abdullah is scheduled to meet with United Nations Secretary General António Guterres in New York, in addition to a number of political, economic, and media leaders, ahead of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, according to a Royal Court statement.
HRH Prince Ali was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members.
