AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday visited the Community Rehabilitation Centre for people with disabilities at Azmi Mufti Refugee Camp in Irbid Governorate.

King Abdullah issued directives to revamp the centre’s facilities in 2017, according to a Royal Court statement.

His Majesty, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, was briefed on the services the centre provides to 60 people with disabilities.

The centre, established in 1987, aims to socially integrate people with disabilities and offers educational programmes and courses.

Also at Azmi Mufti Refugee Camp, the King, accompanied by Crown Prince Hussein, visited a family at their home and checked on their conditions and needs.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi and Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan accompanied His Majesty.
