Lower House committee to meet with officials on improving Income Tax Law

AMMAN — Head of the Lower House’s Economy and Investment Committee Khair Abu Saileik said that the committee will lead a comprehensive national dialogue starting next Sunday to discuss the draft law amending the 2018 Income Tax Law.

Abu Saileik added in a press statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra on Thursday that the Lower House’s committee will meet on Sunday with the prime minister and an economic team of the government, and will hold another meeting with the heads of commerce chambers.

He stressed that the committee will spare no effort and will utilise all people with competence and efficiency to improve the provisions of the law, pointing out that the law in its current form requires a lot of amendments and in-depth discussions.
