Man arrested for announcing Tawjihi answers over mosque loudspeaker

AMMAN — Police on Tuesday arrested an individual who attempted to facilitate cheating during Tuesday's General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) by announcing answers to the exam over a loudspeaker of a mosque in Balqa, according to the Public Security Directorate’s spokesperson. The security team responsible for overseeing the exam at a school in Balqa responded to reports of the man announcing the answers over the loudspeaker. The team quickly moved to the mosque and successfully apprehended the individual, the spokesperson said.  An investigation is underway, and appropriate legal and administrative action will be taken against the individual.
