Ministry holds workshop on good governance

AMMAN — The Public Sector Development Ministry said on Sunday it held an awareness workshop to introduce a guidebook on good governance in the public sector.

In a statement, the ministry’s secretary general, Khalid Lahham, said the workshop is a continuation of evaluation reports prepared every quarter on governance practices in government departments, and a continuation of the second phase of the project to raise awareness of those practices.

Lahham said the ministry prepared the guidebook, which was circulated by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour in 2014 to use its concepts in enhancing governance.
