Ministry of Municipal Affairs implements surveillance project

AMMAN — Technology Director at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs Khalid Al Qoraan said that the ministry has implemented an electronic surveillance project, which includes the installation of 81 cameras and radars.
The ministry is also working to link the cameras and radars with the national monitoring system at the Greater Amman Municipality, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Tuesday. Qoraan also noted that the ministry designed a smart phone application titled “buildings and land tax” to facilitate service to citizens.
