AMMAN — MP Hind Fayez, a member of the Lower House Energy Committee, on Sunday called on the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission to make public all its feasibility and environmental studies, especially those proving that Jordan possesses commercial quantities of uranium.
In a press conference organised by the national anti-nuclear committee, she noted that the step seeks to acquaint the public with the energy situation.
Fayez said there were several reasons to oppose the nuclear programme, such as water scarcity.
