Mulki discusses medical sector concerns with syndicate leaders

AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Thursday met with presidents of medical associations and discussed issues of concern to the sector.

Mulki and heads of the medical, dental, nurses and pharmacists associations Ali Obous, Ibrahim Tarawneh, Mohammad Hatamleh and Ismail Saadi, also discussed the draft medical liability law and accreditation of health institutions.

The premier said any amendments to the draft law should consider the interests of both doctors and patients, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The presidents highlighted the importance of cooperation among all stakeholders to amend the bill to be balanced and fair.
