AMMAN — INJAZ’s mySTARTUP Incubator of has launched an optional fund for female entrepreneurs who already benefit from its services.

The organisation, in a press statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Sunday, said that the fund helps women entrepreneurs to cover costs and enables businesswomen to overcome challenges that hinder their companies' success and development.

The launch of the fund comes within a project to support economic opportunities for women in Jordan, implemented by INJAZ, a local non-profit organisation, with the support of the Canadian government and in partnership with Ryerson University and the Canadian Bureau for International Education.

The fund covers the basic needs of startups, such as transportation and the purchase of necessary equipment to develop the company, in addition to the costs of daycare for the children of women entrepreneurs to be able to attend coaching and training sessions on entrepreneurship.
