AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, chairman of the National Committee for De-mining and Rehabilitation (NCDR), Planning and International Cooperation Minister Imad Fakhoury and several  ambassadors and representatives of donor countries and UN bodies on Thursday discussed NCDR future plans.

Prince Mired thanked donors for their continued support for NCDR and its humanitarian efforts.  Established in 2000, NCDR has been working to end the threat of land mines and explosive remnants of war. Since 2005, the committee has received more than $39 million in international aid to help it with its mine clearance programme.
