New measures on Ramadan coming; programmes launched to support workers — Adaileh

AMMAN — Minister of State for Media Affairs Amjad Adaileh on Friday said that a series of new measures will be announced soon regarding the holy month of Ramadan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During a press briefing at the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management, Adaileh said that the National Aid Fund has launched an electronic platform for daily wage workers at reg.takmeely.jo, while the disbursement of aid to those who are eligible will start on Wednesday.
He also pointed to three programmes launched by the Social Security Corporation (SSC) on Thursday, including programmes to protect the national economy and citizens, support workers and ensure the sustainability of the private sector during the current circumstances.
The minister said that the applications for these programmes will open on Tuesday, with all related details published on the SSC's website and official media platforms.
