Northern Ghor families to receive aid after recent floods

AMMAN — Minister of Social Development Reem Abu Hassan issued directives on Saturday to provide aid to families hit by the floods that swept the Northern Ghor region recently, according to the ministry’s media director, Mohammad Hammad.
The assistance, which includes food parcels and blankets, will go to 30 families, Hammad said, noting that Abu Hassan also directed the ministry staff to present tents and heaters to underprivileged families in Northern Ghor.
