Noted poet, journalist Mohammed Thaher passes away

AMMAN — Minister of Culture Basem Tweissi on Saturday expressed condolences over the passing of renowned poet and journalist Mohammed Thaher.

The minister paid tribute to Thaher, highlighting his literary contributions, mainly translated works, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Thaher, a member of the Jordanian Writers Association and a member of the Jordan Press Association, held several posts, including the editorship of Ad-Dustour newspaper.
