AMMAN — North Amman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel arrested a suspect who scammed the public by pretending he could obtain a Hajj (the greater pilgrimage) visa in return for money, the Public Security Department (PSD) said Tuesday.

The PSD reported that complaints filed with the north Amman CID unit indicated that the suspect took people’s passports and JD150 to issue them visas. In his house, CID personnel found 370 passports.
