Princess Basma attends Educational Leaderships Conference

AMMAN — HRH Princess Basma on Friday attended the opening of the 13th Educational Leaderships Conference, held by the Private Schools’ Cultural and Educational Council in Aqaba.
During the event, Omar Tayeh, chairman of the council, noted that transformations witnessed in the world today require an immediate reaction to deal with their ramifications, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He added that humans are the centre of development and that leadership is one of the vital skills to ensure the betterment of the world. Former higher education minister Rateb Saud underlined the need for education to equip generations with morals and principles. At the end of the conference, Princess Basma honoured supporters of the event.
