AMMAN — Members of the health sector professional associations staged a march on Thursday, calling for lifting the Israeli siege on Gaza and putting Israeli war criminals on trial.
At the rally, held under the slogan “In support of Palestine and Gaza”, participants condemned the position of the UN and the international community regarding the Israeli offensive on Gaza.
Jordan Medical Association President Hashem Abu Hassan said the march expresses participants’ outrage over the UN position, noting that the UN granted the “Zionist enemy” sufficient time to carry out its crimes.
Participants, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists and dentists, began their rally from the Professional Associations’ Complex and ended it at the UN offices in Shmeisani.
