AMMAN — The Public Security Department’s (PSD) Traffic Department, in cooperation with the Greater Amman Municipality, on Thursday launched an e-fines project and a new radio communication system to help facilitate the work of traffic officers.
The Traffic Department’s acting director Col. Bassem Kharabsheh said that the project aims to improve the level of services presented to citizens and save them time, effort and money through “remarkably” limiting mistakes made while issuing traffic fines, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The radio system aims to improve the level of radio communication in the field, Kharabsheh added.
