PSUT, CPF ink agreement to enrich Arabic language content

AMMAN — Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) and the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to implement the “Dhad” initiative.

The memorandum aims to improve cooperation in field of Arabic language research and create a roadmap for studies and programmes on neuro-linguistic programming, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, PSUT President Mashhour Rifai said that a joint research team from PSUT and the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) is working to enrich Arabic-language content on the Internet and prepare university-level Arabic courses.

The agreement was signed by Rifai and CPF CEO Tamam Mango. The “Dhad” initiative, launched by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, takes its name from the distinctive sound and letter unique to the Arabic language.
