Ramadan working hours at archaeological sites announced

AMMAN — Museums and archaeological sites will be open for visitors from 10am to 5pm during Ramadan, according to a decision by Tourism Minister Nidal Katamine issued on Tuesday.

Working hours for museum employees will extend until 6pm from Sunday through Thursday.

During the Eid Al Fitr holiday, visiting hours will be from 9am to 6pm while employees will work until 7pm.

The decision covers all archeological sites with the exception of Petra and visits by official delegations.
