Razzaz stresses need for authorities full preparedness for winter

AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Wednesday chaired a meeting with the Higher Council of Civil Defence (HCCD), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During the meeting, Razzaz stressed the need for full preparedness to deal with all weather conditions which may occur during winter.

Minister of Interior Samir Mubaidin who also chairs the HCCD, briefed the prime minister on the main duties assigned to the HCCD under the law of the civil defence.

The season’s first depression is expected to affect the kingdom today, with heavy rain and a tangible drop in temperature forecasted.
