Retired servicemen commend King’s directives to activate Defence Ministry

AMMAN — The president and members of the National Committee of Retired Servicemen praised His Majesty King Abdullah’s directives to the government to activate the Defence Ministry’s role.
In a cable sent to His Majesty, they expressed their trust in his decision that will ensure that the ministry performs its assigned duties, putting Jordan among developed countries, and allowing the army to undertake its main role of defending the country and its people.
As retired servicemen, they said they are an indivisible part of the Jordan Armed Forces, ready to defend the country against any threats.
