AMMAN — The Royal Hashemite Court (RHC) on Monday launched its new website, in addition to an updated version of the official website of His Majesty King Abdullah, according to an RHC statement.

The two websites have been prepared using “the latest technologies in web design and operation, providing users with written and audio-visual content on the news and activities of King Abdullah, according to the statement”.

The RHC’s website (www.rhc.jo) also features information and updates on HRH Crown Prince Hussein, while the website of His Majesty (http://kingabdullah.jo/), officially launched in 2001, has now been redesigned and upgraded, offering “a modern, user-friendly design”.

The RHC’s website includes a number of sections featuring current and historical images about His Majesty, the RHC and the Royal palaces, in addition to a video library collection and overview on the King’s achievements and the Hashemites.

The website also offers information on Royal initiatives, development and service projects implemented by the RHC, as well as Jordan’s history and modern milestones.

Moreover, the website includes pages highlighting economic opportunities offered by Jordan and its tourist attractions. Other sections focus on the Kingdom’s key economic plans and visions, and its historical and archaeological heritage, the statement said.

In the section on the Crown Prince, visitors can follow news on his activities and the various initiatives he supports.

The RHC website also enables journalists, media professionals and various interested parties to register and receive media kits, newsletters and full coverage of the activities of His Majesty and the Crown Prince as they occur, in written and audio-visual formats.

The website has been designed “to offer easy access to the various social media platforms” of the RHC and the Crown Prince, the statement said.
