Royal Court to offer financial aid to families of fallen soldiers

AMMAN — The Royal Court will provide financial support to 2,092 families of those who died in the line of duty, in coordination with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security bodies, in implementation of Royal directives and on the occasion of Ramadan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Tuesday.
The financial support will be provided through the fund supporting the families of army and security officers who died in the line of duty, which His Majesty ordered to be established at the beginning of this year, while also instructing the allocation of JD5 million from the Royal Court's budget to the fund.
More financial support will be distributed on the occasions of the anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt, Army Day, Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha, Petra reported.
