AMMAN — The Royal Tank Museum (RTM) on Tuesday showcased more than 80 rare photos of the development of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF).

Under the theme “Our Army in a 100 Years”, the exhibition was held in a tunnel in Al Abdali’s Buolevard area as part of the RTM’s celebrations of the centenary of the foundation of the Jordanian state.

The exhibition shows the development stages of the armed forces, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, and it will move across the Kingdom to offer the largest number of citizens an opportunity to attend the event that highlights the role of the JAF in protecting the country.

The RTM was established by a Royal Decree in 2007 in order to preserve tanks and armoured vehicles that belong to the JAF as part of the Jordanian military heritage.
