Safadi, Venezuelan counterpart talk about war on Gaza

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil on Tuesday to discuss bilateral relations between the countries and the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
The meeting took place during the 55th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. Both ministers emphasised the need to halt the Israeli attacks on Gaza and ensure the immediate and sufficient delivery of humanitarian aid.
They also underscored their joint stance against forced displacement of Palestinians and underscored commitment to human rights and stability in the region.
The ministers also discussed bilateral relations and agreed to convene a political consultation meeting to identify areas for cooperation in various sectors, including trade and tourism.
They also decided to sign a visa waiver agreement for holders of diplomatic passports and explore further agreements that would create opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
