Senate committee approves Cities and Villages Bank Law's amendments

AMMAN — The Senate's Finance and Economy Committee on Wednesday approved the amendments to the Cities and Villages Development Bank Law as referred by the Lower House.
The bill includes changing the name of the bank to the Local Development Bank, to enhance its role in supporting the municipalities’ projects towards sustainable development, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
