AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality will finish building seven new pedestrian bridges by the end of 2015 in various areas in the capital, increasing the number of overpasses to over 100, Anwar Manasrah, head of the sidewalks department at GAM, said Monday.

There are currently 96 pedestrian bridges, Manasrah said, adding that GAM allocates JD300,000 annually to construct seven to eight overpasses depending on location and other factors.
