Shehadeh meets with US delegation from BCIU

AMMAN — The US is a main commercial partner to the Kingdom, Minister of State for Investment Affairs Muhannad Shehadeh said on Tuesday.
Meeting with a US delegation from the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU), Shehadeh, who is also the chairman of the Jordan Investment Commission (JIC), reviewed the economic reforms in the Kingdom, which led to positive developments in main economic sectors, according to a JIC statement.
He added that Jordan and the US have many bilateral agreements, noting that the free trade agreement contributed to increasing trade exchange and encouraged investors to launch businesses in the Kingdom.
BCIU delegates commended the stable and safe environment in the Kingdom and praised the availability of a qualified Jordanian workforce.
