Shelter to be established for homeless

AMMAN – Social Development Minister Reem Abu Hassan and Health Minister Ali Hiasat on Sunday agreed to work on establishing a centre to shelter homeless people near Al Karama Hospital in Muqabalein area with a capacity of 60 people, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During a visit to Al Karama Psychiatric Hospital, the two ministers decided to provide the centre with technical and medical cadres from both ministries.
The Social Development Ministry will be responsible for procedures related to receiving and registering homeless people while the Health Ministry will provide medical cadres.
