Sheyyab receives WHO delegation

AMMAN — Minister of Health Mahmoud Sheyyab on Tuesday met with a World Health Organisation (WHO) delegation to discuss cooperation between the two sides and the WHO programmes in Jordan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, the delegation presented its response plan to health emergencies in the Kingdom.
The minister stressed the importance of reviewing the proposed plan and adopting it as the “cornerstone” of the ministry’s strategy, which will be implemented at its emergency operations centre, crisis management unit and other relevant departments, according to Petra.
