Six sentenced to 15-year prison terms for forgery

AMMAN – The State Security Court on Tuesday sentenced six people to 15-year prison terms for forging land deeds.
A group of seven people, including three women, were on trial on charges of forging deeds of land belonging to expatriates, selling the land and splitting the money in 2009.
The court dropped the charges against one woman after she died while in custody, while one woman is a fugitive.
