AMMAN — The Ministry of Social Development has started implementing its plan to utilise solar power, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Thursday.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Fawaz Ratrout, said the project, which is expected to cost JD50,000, will contribute towards reducing the ministry’s electricity bill. The photovoltaic cells will be situated mainly on the roof of the ministry’s headquarters, according to Petra.
