Social Security Corporation to increase subscription fees

AMMAN – The Social Security Corporation (SSC) on Monday announced it will start charging the new subscription fees as stipulated in the 2014 Social Security Law.
In a statement e-mailed to The Jordan Times, the corporation said monthly subscription fees will go up from 19.5 per cent of the salary to 20.25 per cent of the salary as of January 1, 2015, explaining that 13.25 per cent will be covered by the employer while the remaining 7 per cent will be paid by the subscribed employee.
