Speaker reaffirms Lower House openness to media

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulmunim Oddat on Sunday directed the secretariat general of the Chamber to remove all obstacles hindering the work of journalists.
Oddat, in a statement, also directed that meetings of parliamentary committees shall be open to media, highlighting the oversight role of national media outlets, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
