SSC hands down sentences for terrorist suspects

AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) on Wednesday issued sentences for four suspects in terrorist related crimes.
The SSC handed a Salafist takfiri suspect, who planned to implement terrorist acts against Foreign Military personnel in the Kingdom, a nine-year sentence with temporary hard labour the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The SSC accused the suspect of threatening terrorist acts, in addition to joining and promoting terrorist groups. The SSC also issued a sentence of three years with temporary hard labour for two other suspects who promoted the Daesh terrorist group.
A final suspect was issued a sentence of five years with temporary hard labour for affiliation with armed groups and terrorist organisations in Syria (Ahrar Al Sham and Al Nusrah Front).
