Suspect arrested over 36 theft cases

AMMAN — Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel have arrested a suspect wanted for 36 previous charges, according to a Public Security Department statement released on Tuesday. The statement said that the CID formed a team to investigate a complaint submitted by a woman whose house was robbed in Amman a few weeks ago.

After investigations, the cadre managed to arrest the wanted suspect and seized 34 large and 79 small pearl beads. The suspect confessed that he was helped by two accomplices, one of whom violated probation and is wanted for allegedly stealing a safe from a villa in Amman, which contained white pearls, perfumes and a gold bar.
